With reference to the letter from this Department of the 14th of January, I am directed by Mr. Secretary Thomas to inform you that the Governor of Hong Kong has now reported the occurrence of a vacancy for an Assistant Mistress (for kindergarten) in the Education Department of the Colony.

2. I am to enquire whether you wish to accept this appointment on the terms set out in the letter from this Department of the 21st of December 1923 (a copy of which is enclosed). If so, you should present yourself for examination to one of the Medical Advisers to this Department whose names are given on the enclosed letter. 3. If selected for appointment you should be prepared to suil so as to arrive in Hong Kong about September.
